It took 27 hands before the first finalist was eliminated, that unfortunate soul being Dewi James. Down to less than 10 big blinds, James moved all-in for 1,200,000 with and David Lloyd called from the small blind with . Despite catching a five on the turn of the board, James was gone.

A massive hand went down on hand 46 of the final table, one that reshaped the entire tournament. Jonathan Kalmar made it 500,000 to go, Bellamy called in the cutoff and Chris Vernon jammed all-in from the button. Kalmar then re-shoved and Bellamy snap-called!

Bellamy looked certain to win a huge pot, but it wasn't to be because despite those kings remaining best on the board, an peeled off on the river to treble the size of Vernon's stack, decimate Kalmar's and give Bellamy a large side pot.

Shortly after the madness of that huge hand, Bellamy sent Kalmar and Jamie Clossick to the rail in the same hand. Kalmar was all-in for 2,600,000 with , Clossick flat-called with and Bellamy pushed all-in with . Clossick tank-called off his 2,200,000 chips. Bellamy took the lead on the flop and stayed ahead on the turn. Despite pleas from the rail for a ten or a five, the river was a and both Kalmar and Clossick were gone.

A few hands later, Cimbolas raised to 480,000 and Vernon three-bet to 1,300,000. Farhaan Khan went into the tank for three minutes before emerging with an all-in four-bet. Cimbolas folded, but Vernon called, as would you if you had in your hand. Khan's needed some help from the community cards, help that never arrived as t hey fell

Next to bust was the talented Tom Hall, a former DTD dealer. Hall found himself all-in with and Cimbolas made the call with . A board was void of drama and Hall was void of chips.

Fourth place went to Cimbolas as the clocks approached 1:00 a.m on Monday morning. Cimbolas limped on the button with what turned out to be , Bellamy raised to 2,000,000 from the small blind with and Cimbolas made an ill-timed all-in shove. The five community cards fell and the dangerous Lithuanian busted.

Three-handed play lasted the best part of an hour and ended with the elimination of David Lloyd. Down to 1,600,000 at the 250,000/500,000 level, Lloyd moved all-in with and Bellamy called with with one heart. The board four-flushed and with that Lloyd's tournament came crshing down.

Bellamy took a 39,000,000 to 11,000,000 chip lead into the heads-up battle with Vernon and it proved to be too much of a bridge to gap for the latter. The final hand saw Vernon all-in with and Bellamy holding . Tit didn't take long to spread the community cards, busting Vernon and leaving Bellamy to be announced as the 2015 Sky Poker UK Poker Championships Main Event champion.
